Terms of service

Last updated: 28 October 2026

These terms explain how bespoke sugar cookie enquiries and orders are handled by Reet Petite Bakery Co. For questions, email reetpetitebakeryco@gmail.com. I aim to reply within 48 hours.

1. Our sugar cookies

1.1 Handmade designs and reference images

Each cookie is handmade and hand-iced, so small variations in shape, colour and detail are part of the process. Screen colours can also vary. Your cookies must still match the description and design we agree.

Reference images, including AI-generated images, can help communicate an idea. AI images may show shapes, finishes or details that cannot realistically be recreated in icing. They are inspiration rather than a promise of an identical result; I’ll discuss a practical design with you before you book. Only share images you have permission to use.

1.2 Ingredients and allergens

Please discuss allergies and dietary requirements when you enquire, before confirming an order or paying. I’ll provide ingredient and allergen information for your chosen cookies before you book and with the order as required.

I bake in a home kitchen where gluten-containing ingredients and other allergens, including nuts, are handled. I do not offer gluten-free cookies and cannot accommodate nut allergies. I cannot rule out cross-contamination or promise an allergen-free product. My cookies are not suitable for anyone who needs a gluten-free diet.

1.3 Storage and freshness

Follow the storage instructions and date information provided with your order. Packaging and the recommended time to enjoy your cookies will be confirmed for your particular order. If you have questions about storing or freezing them, please ask before doing so.

2. Enquiries and bookings

This website accepts enquiries; it does not currently take online checkout orders. An enquiry, automated acknowledgement or discussion of availability does not reserve a date or confirm an order. I’ll confirm the agreed order details and booking requirements in writing before you commit.

Please include your date, quantity, design ideas and delivery postcode or collection preference. Orders are subject to availability. Rush orders may be possible for an additional fee, which will be agreed with your quote before you book.

3. Quotes, payment and order changes

Your written quote will set out the cookies and quantity, agreed design, total price, delivery or collection arrangements, any rush fee, payment schedule and applicable cancellation terms. Any deposit and balance due dates will be confirmed before you agree to the order. There are no automatic rush charges or extra fees agreed simply by submitting a form.

Please check names, spelling, dates, quantities and delivery details carefully and tell me about any errors before confirming. Changes after confirmation depend on the work already completed and availability. Any change in price will be agreed before additional work goes ahead.

4. Delivery and collection

UK delivery, including Northern Ireland, is quoted for your order. I don’t currently ship internationally. Preparation time and transit time are separate. I’ll explain estimated delivery timings and any agreed event deadline before you book. See delivery and collection information.

Please supply an accurate delivery address and tell me promptly if it changes. Where I arrange delivery, responsibility for loss or damage remains with me until the goods reach you or someone you have nominated to receive them. Contact me about a delivery problem so I can help resolve it.

Collection is by prior arrangement. We’ll agree the location and time directly; please do not arrive without an agreed appointment.

5. Cancellations, problems and refunds

Please email as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order. Personalised or made-to-specification goods are generally exempt from the usual 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right. Any cancellation charge must be fair and reflect the loss reasonably caused, taking account of costs saved or recovered; deposits are not automatically non-refundable.

If an order is faulty, damaged or not as described, your statutory rights still apply. Please see the return and refund policy for how to get help. If I need to cancel your order and cannot provide an alternative you agree to, I’ll refund the payments for the cancelled order.

6. Website content and partnerships

Website content and images belong to their respective owners. Please contact me before reusing my photographs, branding or written content. Brand partnerships and content work are agreed separately in writing; an enquiry does not create a partnership or licence to use content.

7. Privacy and cookies

Read the privacy policy for how enquiry information is handled and the cookie policy for website cookies.

8. Your legal rights and changes to these terms

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts your statutory rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. These terms do not remove any mandatory consumer protection that applies to your order. The terms and order details agreed when you book apply to that order; later website changes do not rewrite an existing agreement.
